Homework
Each Monday, your child will get a homework calendar. It will include their homework assignments, a daily behavior log, and the weekly spelling words that we are working on. In addition to the nightly homework, you and your child should be reading 20 minutes every night and signing the reading log. Each line on the log represents 20 minutes of reading, so if you read more than 1 book per night, write them all on one line.
Each week your child will need to pick 3 spelling activities from the spelling homework grid. These activities can be completed in the composition notebook that was sent home recently.
Writing homework is also a choice assignment, your child needs to pick 1 of the wiriting assignments for the month ansd complete just 1 of the assignments for the week. This writing can be completed in the composition notebook also.
All homework is due on Friday.
Spelling tests are given on Friday.
